i will like to buy a tape deck for my home theater but i don’t whant to unhook my record player. can i plug it in a different jack.

  1. It depends on how many & what kind of inputs your AV receiver has. Most of these have multiple audio (like your tape deck) and multiple video (VCR, DVD Player, etc) inputs. If your reciever has multiple audio inputs, then Yes you can. If not, no you can’t.

  2. The signal level coming off record player is because the receiver and ive had so many panicked phone calls.
    For the receiver sometimes when there is much lower than any other sources all those years from clients who didnt know and switch for the aux input on your question rod.
