		<description>One solution could be if your could route either the x-box into your sat. receiver or your sat.  receiver into your x-box, this would solve your dilemma of only one optical connection.
Another solution would  be to upgrade your receiver so you would have two or more optical inputs.
If this also is not feasible, I believe you already have the correct set up for your surround sound system. Connect the X-box via the optical cable to your receiver, and the sat. box to your receiver via the RCA cables to your receiver. Besides unless you have HD sat. box and receiving the signal you are probably not receiving the Dolby Digital 5.1 signal anyway.</description>
